Day Zero: After realizing that afternoon at quarter to two that boarding started a couple hours earlier than we expected it to, we threw everything and anything we could find into our suitcases and were out the door and on the freeway. Fortunately traffic was light that afternoon, and we arrived before boarding had ended.

Day One: Our first port of call is the town of Ensenada, Mexico. The ships photographers were there to record our first steps on Mexican soil.

Begin Day 2 with a stop in San Diego. After consulting with the local metro transit authorities (back in the US, our cell phones work again), we decided we'd take the city bus to the San Diego Zoo.

Ok, a little explanation: This picture was taken during a game called "The Quest", which was a game-show sort of thing where each team was required to find and bring certain items to the stage, along with your team number. For this particular round, the teams were required to produce a male team member wearing a woman's bra, handbag, and shoes. No one on our team was bold enough to do it, so they all decided I should do it. When Kim saw me up on stage with all the other guys, she said to our teammates "I should get a picture of this!" To which they replied "Too late, he's already taking the picture himself!" And there we have it.

As close as we got to Catalina Island
Day Three was supposed to be a stop at Catalina Island. Unfortunately, rough seas prevented our deboarding the ship to the smaller boats that would carry us to shore, so we spent the day taking advantage of the ship-board activities.
